Important: This page explains how to permanently delete your Weight Tracker for Couples account and what data will be removed from our systems. The in-app action deletes the Firebase account and the cloud data associated with it.
How to Delete Your Account
Method 1: In-App Account Deletion (Recommended)
You can delete your account directly from Weight Tracker for Couples while signed in with Google:
- 1Open the Weight Tracker for Couples app on your device
- 2Open Profile
- 3Tap Delete account, to the left of Sign out
- 4Enter your Google email and confirm Delete permanently
- 5Complete Google verification. The deletion is processed immediately
Method 2: Contact Us
If you cannot access the app or encounter issues with in-app deletion, you can request account deletion by email:

Please include:
- The email address associated with your Google account
- A clear request to delete your account
Response time: We will process your request within 30 days of receiving it.
What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Authentication Data: The Google-linked Firebase Authentication account
- User Profile: Display name, email reference, photo URL, height, unit and favorite color
- Tracking Data: Synced weight entries, dates, private notes, goals and synchronization records
- Partner invitations: Pending Partner invitations created by the account
- Partner link: The active Partner link. The other person loses access immediately
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Deleted cloud data cannot be recovered. Disconnecting a Partner or signing out does not delete your account.
Data Not Affected by Deletion
The following data is not removed by cloud account deletion, or is not linked to your Firebase account:
- Your Partner's personal data: The other person keeps their own personal records
- Local guest data: Guest mode does not create a Firebase account or cloud profile. That data can be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app
- Local copy after cloud deletion: Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes the local copy and local reminders. It does not delete data already synchronized to Firebase, so use the process above for complete cloud deletion
Data Retention
After account deletion, Weight Tracker for Couples does not retain any personally identifiable information. However:
- Aggregated Analytics: Analytics data that no longer identifies an account may remain under Google's retention settings
- Legal Compliance: Crash, integrity and advertising data follows the applicable provider policies. Information may also be retained when required by law or necessary for security and fraud prevention
No personal data that can identify you is retained after account deletion.
